Inaia, I miss U!

Inaia is a passionate, multi-lingual and versatile performer. Her shining presence speaks of beauty and coming into her power as she courageously shares her voice and her soul with the world. A native of Puerto Rico, her early travels to Europe and mainland USA with her family sharpened her sense for music, language and culture. Through her years of international travel she is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian and speaks some Portuguese, French and Japanese, as well. She most certainly does not fit into the mold of your typical Latina. Unlike most Latins, she lives a vegan lifestyle, practices Capoeira and Bikram Yoga. Additionally, she is very passionate about her spirituality and relies on holistic practices to keep her well and centered. All of these unconventional influences shine through in her radiant personality. This is especially evident in her music. Inaia began singing in the children's choir of her church when she was only 8 years old. Upon graduating high school in P.R., Inaias desire to chase her dream, lead her to GoucherCollege in Baltimore, MDU.S.A. where she studied music, dance, and theater. After 2 years of honing her craft she was offered her first professional opportunity as a singer on the ship 'Scandinavian Song'. This prepared her for later gigs in musical revue style shows for the CondadoBeach and Conquistador hotels back in Puerto Rico as well as the Fountainbleau Hilton in Miami. Eventually, Inaia landed a role in the Bellas Artes production of the musical "Cabaret", working along side the Grammy nominated composer Jose Negroni. In this production she traveled to the Dominican Republic where she performed at the world renowned "National Theater.

" Inaia is a true "triple threat" performer, singer, dancer and actor. Throughout her career, she has been featured in numerous television commercials, magazine print ads, as a featured dancer in Thalias music video, "Regresa A Mi", and in the telenovela "Al Son Del Amor," starring Luis Enrique. She was also featured several times as "El Poder De La Semana" on the show "No Te Duermas" for Telemundo. Recently, she was a featured "New Artist" at the 2006 Latin Billboard Awards. As a singer she has traveled the world over sharing her unique style with the masses. She has performed throughout the United States including many South Beach, FL venues as well as, New York, Las Vegas, and Atlanta. Internationally, her career has brought her to perform in many exotic countries including the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Japan, Korea, Italy and Morocco. Currently, Inaia shares her time performing in South Florida, U.S.A., Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan. While on tour in Japan last winter, she spent most of her time at her iBook composing lyrics and music, which eventually resulted in her newly released CD, "Duality." "Duality" was, masterfully produced by Orly Penate. Penate, a veteran of the music industry himself, has worked with such greats as Natalie Cole, James Ingram, Harold Melvin and Blue Notes Bertie Higgins. He has recently shared the stage with such extraordinary artists as Kirk Waylem, Russ Freidman, and the incomparable B.B. King. The collaboration of Inaia and Penate is what makes "Duality" a unique concoction of fresh, seductive Jazz and World Jazz with a chill, sexy vibe. It also includes 5 original tracks that complete this eclectic blend of musical styles. "Duality" is full of gems, both old and new", writes Wrinksis, a reviewer for MusicFreedom.com.

"The album's biggest highlight may very well be the reflective song True in which Inaia finds herself revealing a soul that's always been stronger and urges the listener to seek his or her own freedom." Her sound is hip, sexy, modern and fresh. Inaia's emotion-filled vocals will surely uplift and bring a smile to your soul.

All donations received at this occasion will be used in their entirety to aid some of the most afflicted populations of the world.
At the present moment, Doctors of the World is bringing vital assistance to the following three countries with particular urgency.

In Java, the earthquake of May 2006 cost more than 6,000 lives, and has left more than 200,000 others without shelter. In Darfur, a grave humanitarian crisis which has already claimed more than 180,000 victims continues unabated today. Louis Vuitton In Tokyo

Louis Vuitton, world leader in luxury goods staged its women's pret a porter show outside Paris for the first time in Tokyo on June 7th 2006.

First Time Ever Fashion Show Out of Paris

First row, celebrities, and exceptional party

The show, created and presented by Artistic Director, Marc Jacobs, took place at Yumenoshima Park, in a specially built marquee, the first time that this park has seen a fashion event. It presented the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2006-07 collection. The show was followed by a fabulous party for 1000 privileged guests, with a lot of celebrities and trend-setters.

Bernard Arnault, President & CEO of LVMH Moet Hennessy - Louis Vuitton and Yves Carcelle, President of Louis Vuitton received international press from all over Asia and such exceptional personalities as Wing Shya (Hong Kong), Xu Jing-Lei (China), Chen Bo Lin (Taiwan), Simon Yam (Hong Kong), Nigo (Japan), Ryoko Yonekura (Japan), Nanaka Matsushima (Japan), Kyoko Hasegawa (Japan) to name but a few.

International DJs such as Nigo, Jus Ske and Benjamin from "Le Baron", "Colette dance class", roller girls and catering by French Chef Pierre Herme were few of the highlights of the party offered to the guests. Last but not least, the decor of gold was set off by iconic singer Grace Jones transforming the party into "the" place to be.

Marc Jacobs, awarded on June 6th "Designer of the year" by Japanese "Fashion Editors Club" commented on the event: "There is a lot of energy in Tokyo and I wanted to thank all our Asian and Japanese customers for their strong support since the beginning. This is a great moment for all of us and I am very happy to be here with all my team members. And I wanted to bring all the excellence and quality of the Parisian show into Tokyo."

Yves Carcelle said "this is a landmark presentation of our entire show, not a pre collection or a presentation of selected items. Marc and his team are very excited at the prospect of staging a show in Japan, as am I. This is an opportunity for us to communicate directly with our important Asian audience, while giving them a small thank you for their support for Louis Vuitton throughout its history."

Tokyo Kink Society

Welcome to Japan's largest non profit international
fetish, kink and BDSM organization!

Tokyo Kink Society is Japan's only non profit international group of open minded men and women who are interested in fetish, bondage, domination and S&M. They are modelled along similar groups that exist in North America and Europe.

Who are they? Well, they come from all walks of life, bankers, teachers, entrepreneurs...basically, they are the same people you meet in daily life each day.

They aim is to explore alternative, creative and adventurous expression through BDSM and fetish in order to develop the human spirit while expanding our borders of thinking, feeling and sensuality.

The group was started in 2001 by several open minded couples (Japanese and foreigner) living in Tokyo, and has grown from holding small home parties to now having full scale DJ nightclub fantasy BSDM/fetish events (though they still have the home parties as well!) on a regular calandar schedule.
